Dear Shairzal Customers,

I am very pleased to officially announce today that MineARC Systems and Shairzal Safety Engineering Pty Ltd are now effectively operating as one business.

Negotiations over the past month between the two companies have resulted in MineARC officially taking over Shairzal’s manufacturing, servicing and sales commitments to all its past and present customers.

Expanding Sales and Maintenance Contracts in South America

MineARC Systems proudly announces the recent purchase of an additional four HRM 16-Person Refuge Chambers by Freeport-McMoran of Chile. The additional four chambers, to be delivered in early 2010, brings the total number of MineARC Refuge Chambers at Freeport-McMoran's Ojos del Salado and Minera Candelaria operations to eight.

With the recent addition of Ing. Gustavo Carvahlo, a certified technician for the maintenance of MineARC Systems Refuge Chambers based in Chile, MineARC has expanded its service contracts with mining operations in Chile, Argentina, and Peru.

MineARC® Systems has signaled its arrival onto the US coal scene with the first major sales of its patented CoalSAFE™ refuge model to major mine operators in the southern state of Alabama. The CoalSAFE™ refuge features the patented MARC.is™ unit – the world’s first intrinsically safe refuge cooling system.

Leinster Nickel Mine Collapse

MineARC Systems can confirm that the refuge chamber involved in the recent BHP Leinster underground nickel mine collapse was a MineARC Hard Rock Model, 8 Person Refuge Chamber.

MineARC Signs Exclusive Chinese Distributor Agreement

MineARC is happy to confirm the signing of an exclusive China-wide distributor agreement with the Shenyang Branch of the China Coal Research Institute (SYCCRI).

SYCCRI operates as a safety research and development body within the Chinese coal industry, and is itself a subsidiary of the Central Government's Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.
