Carbon Dioxide Self Powered Absorber units (CASPA) are intended for the removal of expired CO2 in an enclosed environment where oxygen depletion is not an issue (i.e. entrapment requirements are just a few hours). The removal of carbon dioxide is the major priority as it is expired at more than two times the rate at which oxygen is used inside an enclosed environment.

The CASPA unit combines modern hi-tech battery and fan components with a carefully designed, volumetrically efficient, CO2 absorbent material. They are supplied with removable seals to ensure reliable operation under harsh conditions.

Multiple CASPA units are required depending on the volume of the enclosed space and the number of occupants (see brochure below for further info).

The CASPA is small, allowing ease of storage and has a six year shelf life. The units require no maintenance or special equipment to be used.
